🌈👏 Our incredible young people at the Phoenix Group were diving deep into Healthy Relationships last week, and the results are nothing short of inspiring! 👏🌈
🍉🗣️ They kicked off with a powerful activity, jotting down hurtful words and phrases they've encountered on melons - generously provided by Tesco, St Oswald's (Gloucester). 🍉🗣️
💡💬 Exploring the nuances of consent, they engaged with thought-provoking videos and dissected the fries anagram, delving into the crucial concept of capacity to consent. 💬💡
🚩🟨🟩 In a scenario-based activity, they navigated through red flags, beige flags, and celebrated green flags, fostering insightful discussions around healthy relationship dynamics. 🚩🟨🟩
🔨💥 Venting out negativity in a constructive way, they ventured outdoors for a symbolic act of smashing the melons adorned with hurtful words. Stay tuned for the empowering social media reel! 💥🔨
💪💖 Returning indoors, they embarked on a journey of self-affirmation, crafting positive statements to counteract the earlier negativity. 💖💪
🎁🌻 Additionally, the girls were gifted self-care items including lip balm, hand cream, and a sunflower bracelet, fostering moments of rejuvenation and self-love. 🌻🎁
